The new database has content that does not appear on the FDA site.
Can you describe the sources? Also, the results are more exact. Why
isn't FDA set up this way?

The database contains all of the FDA Warning Letters issued since
1996. There are 2 search engines aimed at this content to enable
searches of this huge archive and newly posted WLs (updated each
week). The database also includes over 40,000 separate files listing
FOI events (when someone communicated with the agency). In the near
future, you'll be able to view FDA's PDF files with highlighted
search terms (you'll need Acrobat 7 or later to enable this feature).
The FDA is busy issuing the core documents. It's our job to make
access the best possible.
