Dr David Bohm was opposed by any number of scientists of his day, and persecuted under McCarthy. Because he was shy and quiet and a little hesitant and measured about expressing his theories, his ideas were ignored rather than rejected.
He simply wasn't forceful enough or apparently confidant enough for america.
But his 'physical' ideas were balanced by what he had witnessed during Professor Hasted's experiments of the paranormal.
And he found a philosophical and spiritual giant who was his equal in metaphysics - Jiddu Krishnamurti .
Together the two of them formed a relationship that lasted until Bohm died. A marriage of science and spirituality that forged a theory that will withstand the tests of time and will no doubt prove that sometimes the quiet measured and thoughtful introvert is the one who brings truth to mankind.
In this video he talks about his theories - encouraged by Dr Suzuki
