Select Committee transcripts of this type are in general a very good way of
obtaining and 'dissecting' the gov'ts detailed thinking on energy
topics.......a really useful part of the UK political landscape.....I can
vividly recall them 'taking Maggie's electricity sector privatisation to
pieces' at the time, especially re. the workings of the old NFFO nuclear
