Error launching project

Hi,

    I am encountering an issue when attempting to start my project and launch the server. I keep receiving the error message: "Spawn failed: Timeout." I have already tried several solutions, such as switching networks and using a VPN, but the error persists.

Could anyone assist me with resolving this issue?

Hi

By project, I assume you mean that you are trying to start your own GenePattern server? On that assumption we will need some more details to be able to help;

- Are you running our Docker container or a local installation

- What OS

- Is this an existing server that won't restart or a new install starting for the first time

- What is in the server log files

Lets start with those questions and we'll see what we can do,

Dear Ted,

Thank you for your response. To clarify: I am using the public web-based GenePattern server (accessing it via browser, not self-hosting). My issue occurs specifically in this webpage.

Regarding your questions:

1. Installation type:  Using the official web server (no Docker/local installation).

2. OS:  Accessing via Chrome on Windows 11, but the issue persists across browsers.

To assist troubleshooting:
I've re-attached a screenshot showing the error .

Thanks for the clarification.  I will ask the GenePattern Notebook developer to take a look and get back to you.

One of our notebook servers was stuck. I apologize. The issue has now been fixed. If you retry the project it should launch.
