POETRY.

FROM THE GREEK.
            _____

To blow his nose, when Prokios tries,
Wide hand uprais'd and starting eyes,
Vain are his toils, immense his woes,
His hand is shorter than his nose.
When sneezing loud he nothing hears,
So distant are his nose and ears.
