Lately, at Sedbergh, Mrs. Mary WALKER, relict of the late Christopher WALKER, and mother of Mrs. FOSTER, of Newcastle, formerly of Hebblethwaite Hall, near Sedbergh, at the advanced age of 88, and one of the Society of Friends.
A few days ago, at Boston, the well-known Lincolnshire physician, Doctor MOODY, to the great regret of all his living patients. This eccentric son of Esculapius proffered to cure every disorder by three sovereign remedies; which he called Gentle John (sulphuric acid); Number One (nitric acid); and Golden Tincture (gin and aloes).
