REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE.

In presenting the Subscribers to the Central School with the Annual Report, the Committee beg again to draw their attention to the benefits which continue to accrue from the Establishment of this Institution, to the poorer classes of the Inhabitants of this City and Neighbourhood, in the opportunity of improvement afforded to those whose minds would otherwise, in all probability, have continued blind to that spiritual knowledge which is made the primary object of Instruction to the Children in this School, as the only foundation for a moral and virtuous conduct in after-life, becoming the character of a Christian, and tending to the general welfare of Society.

Fully persuaded, therefore, of the great public utility of the Establishment, the Committee congratulate the Subscribers on the good already effected, and entreat a continuance of their support, together with their active endeavours to engage the assistance of others in the same Christian undertaking; and to impress upon the minds of the poor the imperious duty they are under not to neglect or refuse for their Children the advantages which this School is calculated to afford them.

The following Subscriptions for the Year, the State of the Funds, &c. are respectfully added.

                                            By Order of the Committee,

                                                                                         JOS. HUDSON, M. A. Secretary.

Committee-Room, August 1, 1825.

BENEFACTIONS and SUBSCRIPTIONS will be received by the TREASURER, at the Bank of Messrs. FORSTER, and by the SECRETARY.
