Tuesday last at Brigham, by the Rev. Mr. DIXON, Mr. John WHINNEY of Eaglesfield, to the agreeable Miss GIBSON of the same place.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, the bride was Jane GIBSON of Eaglesfield; they married on 24 Oct 1780 at Brigham.]

The 15th inst. Mr. Robert GILPIN of Bedford-street, Covent Garden.

[According to the Parish Register of St. Leonard, Shoreditch, Middlesex, Robert GILPIN of Hoxton town, Bury away, age 36, was buried on 16 Oct 1780.]
