Thursday last, at St. James's Church Mr. Robert CONKEY to Miss RICHARDSON, both of this town.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, the bride's forename was Catherine; they married on 08 May 1777.]

 

A few days ago at Lorton, Mr. William WILSON of Ambleside, to Miss HINDE of Byersteads.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, William WILSON of Lorton and Mary HINE of Embleton married on 01 May 1777 at Lorton.]

 

At Liverpool, Mr. MOSS, timber merchant, to Miss ARROWSMITH.

[According to the Bishop's Transcripts, Thomas MOSS, Merchant, and Jane ARROWSMITH, Spinster, both of the Parish of Liverpool, married on 08 May 1777 at St. Anne Richmond, Liverpool.]

 

DIED

 

Wednesday last, at Penrith, Mr. Miles CORNEY, late a bookseller in that place.

[According to the PR Transcript, Miles CORNEY, Gentleman, aged 62, was buried on 10 May 1777 at Penrith.]

 

A few days ago at Hornby in Lancashire, Mrs. FENWICK of Burrow hall.

[According to Lancashire OPC, Dame Ann FENWICK of Hornby was buried on 01 May 1777 at St. Wilfrid, Melling in Lonsdale.]

 

Lately, Mrs. UDDAL of Wigton.

[According to the Quaker Register, Jane UDALL died on 27 Apr 1777 and was buried on 29 Apr 1777 in Friends Burying Ground at Wigton.]
