On Saturday evening last, at Linstock, in the parish of Stanwix, after a painful illness, borne with a degree of fortitude and resignation rarely equalled and seldom surpassed, Margaret, relict of the late Mr. John DONALD, of that place, in the 58th year of her age. Possessed of a kind and generous disposition, with a heart "open as day to melting charity," she never heard the tale of pity unmoved, and the indigent never implored her assistance in vain. Her memory will be long held in grateful recollection amongst the poor in her neighbourhood, to whom she was at all times a kind and liberal benefactress.
