Thursday last in Bardy-Well-Lane, Capt. William BACON, in an advanced age.
[According to the Copeland Registers Index, William BACON, aged 58, was buried on 24 May 1777 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven.]
Lately on her return from London, at Stamford, Miss Martha BUSK, of Bullhouse near Barnsley, Yorkshire.
[According to the Stamford Mercury, Miss Martha BUSK, second daughter of Hans BUSK, Esq. of Bull House in Yorkshire, died of a fever on Saturday 17 May 1777 at the George Inn, St. Martin's Stamford-Baron, on her return from London.]
This morning in Church-street, Mrs. TOWERSON, aged 85.
