At St. James's Church, Whitehaven, on the 20th ult. by the Rev. Wm. JACKSON, A. M., Skelton WOOD, Esq. of Godferhead, Loweswater, to Jane, eldest daughter of Anthony MOORE, Esq. of Whitehaven. [According to the Copeland Registers Index, they were married on 24 Nov 1825.] Mr. John BOWMAN, to Miss HARRISON, of George-street. [According to the Copeland Registers Index, John BOWMAN, painter, and Sarah HARRISON married on 15 Nov 1825 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven.] Mr. John SHAW, to Miss Eleanor SAMPSON. [According to the Copeland Registers Index, they married on 26 Nov 1825 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven.] Mr. Robt. DENHAM, to Miss Mary BLACKBURN. [According to the Copeland Registers Index, they married on 27 Nov 1825 at Holy Trinity, Whitehaven; the groom was a shoemaker.]

Since our last, Mr. Jos. NELSON, Ritson's Lane, 42. In Caldewgate, Jane, wife of Mr. Alan DAVIE, calico-printer, aged 49.
At Penrith, on Monday, Mr. H. KNOTT, Cooper, 83. At Yanwath, near Penrith, on the 25th ult., Mr. John NICHOLSON, yeoman, aged 88.
In Strand-street, Whitehaven, Mr. George WILSON, paper-maker, aged 89. In Quay-street, Mrs. Elizabeth LOWTHER, aged 81. Jane WRAY, aged 27, New Houses. Ann BLANEY, aged 75, Mount Pleasant.
At Ehenside, near Egremont, (the residence of her son) Mrs. Mary MOSSOP, relict of the late Mr. William MOSSOP, aged 85. At Forge, Eskdale, Mr. J. VICKERS, advanced in years. At Calderbridge, Mr. Joseph CROSTHWAITE, clock-dresser, aged 54.
Sunday week, on board his vessel, at Limerick, Capt. John KEGG, of the Nile of Harrington.
On Friday, at Nether Stainton, in Waberthwaite, the Rev. Thomas NICHOLSON, at an advanced age.
On Friday in the 81st year of his age, at his house at Burton in Kendal, William ATKINSON, Esq. Lord of the Manor, and formerly of Chancery Lane, London.
On Saturday, the Rev. Wm. WARRENER, of Leeds, one of the remaining few who laboured with John WESLEY.
At Dornock Manse, on Monday, by the Rev. N. SLOANE, Mr. Thomas NEILSON, to Miss Janet CORLISER.
Saturday, in the 72d year of his age, the Very Rev. John PLUMPTRE, D. D. Dean of Gloucester, and Vicar of Stone and Wichenford, in the county of Worcester.
At Dumfries, in the 38th year of his age, Mr. John MITCHELL, shoemaker, and, for several years past, a zealous and useful member of the Relief Session of that place. At Shawhill, on the 24th ult. Violet WILLIAMSON, aged 74.
At Douglas, Isle of Man, Mrs. CLAGUE, aged 80 years. Miss PEARSON, aged 25 years.
