Well, better late than never, Roland!
Your ancestors must have been very elusive. I have had many mentions of my husband’s folk in the articles I transcribed routinely (and lots more by actually searching for them).
Then again, none of my ancestors have shown up. Which, perhaps, is not all that surprising, as they were German… Although on one occasion, there was a report in The Times about the Great Fire of Hamburg, and my grandfather’s cousin was quoted – he was the senior pastor of St. Michael’s church in Hamburg, and his sermon was mentioned.
