At Ambleside, on the 21st instant, Mrs. Margaret HAYSE, aged 77.

Last week, aged 18, after a protracted illness, Georgiana, youngest daughter of Mr. Edmund TATHAM, surgeon, of Kendal. In the 81st year of her age, Mrs. Betty WILSON, one of the widows of Sandes's Hospital, Kendal.

 

On the 19th inst. Edmund CRASTER, Esq. of Preston. He served the office of Sheriff for the county of Northumberland in the year 1822.

 

At Frizington, Sarah, wife of Mr. Joseph BEWLEY, aged 23.

 

At Dumfries, Mr. BAXTER, baker. Suddenly, at Baxter's Close, Maxwelltown, Mr. James FINDLAY.

 

At Aberdeen, on Sunday morning the 17th current, Dr. ROSS, one of the ministers of the East Church of that city. He preached on the Thursday previous at the ordination of his colleague, Mr. MURRAY. He rose on Sunday morning, although he felt himself not very well, and died about eight o'clock. It is little more than two months since his late colleague, Mr. DOIG, died.

 

On the 19th inst., at Oak Hill, Isle of Man, the residence of Jon BELL, Esq., Mr. John LEECE, aged 23.

 

On Monday, at a funeral ceremony in the old church yard of Airth, a young man, brother-in-law to the deceased, while engaged as one of the bearers of the corpse, fell down and instantly expired.

 

At Coblentz, on the 11th current, of apoplexy, his Excellency Baron THIELMEN, and Commander-in-Chief of the Prussian provinces on the Rhine.

 

October 9, at Combe Florey, near Taunton, Mary LARWAY, in her 107th year.

 

We regret to have to communicate the death of our respected Sovereign, Andrew ALEXANDER, Esq. He expired at his residence, on Sunday morning, at nine o'clock, deeply and justly regretted.—Belfast N. L. [The Lord Mayor of Belfast was styled the Sovereign of Belfast until 1842.]
