A few days ago at Carlisle, Mr. Daniel PATTINSON, carpenter, to Miss FOULDER of Woodend near Thursby.

[According to FamilySearch, the bride's name was Elizabeth FAULDER; they married on 01 Nov 1777 at St. Mary, Carlisle.]

 

A few days ago, at Hesket in the Forest, Mr. William WILSON, millwright, to Miss Betty BELL of Broughwaite.

[According to FamilySearch, William WILSON, aged 26, and Eliz. BELL, aged 24, married on 02 Nov 1777 at Hesket in the Forest.]

 

Last week the Rev. Mr. ATKINSON of Walton, Lancashire, to Miss Betty HODGSON of the Oaks in Millom.

[According to FamilySearch, Myles ATKINSON and Elizabeth HODGSON married on 22 Oct 1777 at Thwaites, Cumberland.]

 

Tuesday last Mr. Solomon FOX of Haverigg, to Miss Betty PARKIN of Limethwaite in Millom.

Saturday se'ennight at Graystock, in an advanced age and greatly respected, Mr. George CALVERT, steward to his grace the Duke of Norfolk.

 

Lately, James HARGRAVE of Shaddon in Northumberland, Esq.

Saturday last at Workington, in an advanced age, Mr. Thomas HALL of that place.

Saturday last, after a few hours illness, Miss Isabella LITTLEDALE, in the 12th year of her age, second daughter of Mr. Isaac LITTLEDALE, merchant in this town.

[According to the Copeland Registers Index, she was buried on 10 Nov 1777 at St. James, Whitehaven.]

 

The 24th past, at her lodgings in York, Mrs. Elizabeth ELSLEY relict of Charles ELSLEY, Esq. of Patrick Brompton in the North Riding, daughter of Heanage DEARING, D. L. L. Dean of Ripon and Chaplain to the late Archbishop SHARPE. The Tuesday following her remains were interred in the family burying place at Patrick Brompton.

 

Sunday last, in Coate's Lane, Mrs. SPEIGHT, in an advanced age, and greatly respected.
