Yesterday at St. Bees Church, William DIXON, soldier in the Durham militia, to Sarah SCOTT, of the Globe Inn, King-street. They were attended by a great number of people on horseback, who on their return to town, put many of His Majesty's liege subjects in bodily fear, by riding furiously through the streets. Several musquets were fired on the occasion, and upon the whole it may be said that no union of the kind, for many years past, has made more noise.

Wednesday last in Roper-street, Mrs. ROCHFORT, in an advanced age, greatly respected.

On the 20th inst. at Berwick, Dr. Walter RIDDELL, Physician at that place, after an illness of eight days only, in the 28th year of his age, universally and sincerely lamented.
