[According to the Copeland Registers Index, the bride's forename was Catherine; they married on 01 Jun 1778.]

 

Thursday se'ennight, at Cockermouth, Mr. Robert STUBB of Brackenthwaite, to Miss Nancy PEELE of Cockermouth.

Sunday se'ennight, at Carlisle, Mr. BROADIE, inn-keeper in Newcastle, to Miss BECK, daughter of Mr. Michael BECK of Carlisle.

Tuesday last in the 64th year of his age, Mr. William LITTLEDALE, Merchant in Duke-street: he was greatly respected, bore a tedious illness with true christian patience, and died sincerely regretted.

Tuesday, Mrs. DAWSON, was found dead in a field at Stainton, near Penrith.
