FURNESS YEOMANRY CAVALRY.

On Tuesday last, T. G. BRADDYLL, Esq. M.P., gave a grand entertainment, at his seat at Conishead Priory, to the Furness Yeomanry Cavalry, together with several others of the resident Gentry in and about Ulverstone, making in the whole upwards of 100 persons.

On removal of the cloth, "Non Nobis Domine" was sung in grand style by several of the Members of the Ulverstone Musical Society, the whole of which was in attendance; after which, the conviviality of the evening was supported by several loyal songs and sentiments, amongst which were the following: -

THE KING.........................................................."God Save the King."

HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCE
REGENT.............................................................."King George's March" - Cavalier Song, and Chorus.

THE DUKE OF YORK and the ARMY..............."Duke of York's March.

MR. BRADDYLL AND FAMILY...................... - Song, "Honest Men and Bonny Lasses."

Glee, "Come Honest Lads." - Glee, "In Those Groves of Content."

On the health of those Gentlemen present being given, each returned thanks in a handsome manner, particularly MR. BRADDYLL, in the name of himself and family, who, while he acknowledged it was his most fervent wish to merit the approving smile of his Countrymen, further observed, that the honor then bestowed on himself and family would add to the ardour of his endeavours to merit their esteem.

Immediately preceding the toast of "Our Glorious Constitution," he (MR. B.) addressed the company in a concise, yet very impressive manner, upon what he was then about to give them, in which, he had not a doubt, all present would readily coincide with enthusiastic warmth.  Its excellencies were seldom equalled, and never surpassed, in any other nation whatever. - It had been handed down unpolluted from our forefathers, and he hoped it would be preserved to the rising and succeeding generation.  At the same time declaring the whole tenor of his mind to be wholly hostile to the Radical mania, which had (he was sorry to say) existed in various parts of the Country, but which, by every information, was now greatly upon the wane.

After several other most excellent speeches, the whole of the festivity being conducted in the most regular manner, it concluded with the utmost conviviality and harmony.
