Wednesday last at Langwathby in this county, Mr. John SIMPSON of Salkeld-Gates, to Miss Grace VERTY of the same place, an amiable young lady with a handsome fortune, and possessed of every other qualification conducive to matrimonial felicity.
Last Monday at Carlisle, Mr. Wm. GIBSON of Upperby, aged 56, to Mrs. Jannet SIMPSON, aged 81.

Monday last at Wigton, in the prime of life, Mr. Mungo KAY, joyner, greatly lamented.

Yesterday se'ennight at Islekirk in this county, in the 69th year of his age, Mr. George MATTINSON; he had been married above 60 years.

Last week, in the 69th year of his age, the Rev. Mr. RITSON, 40 years curate of Clifton Chapel, and master of the parish school of Workington: he was much respected as an honest man and an excellent mathematician.
