Last week, in London, to his second wife, Mr. George MAXWELL, a respectable tailor, in the 85th year of his age, to a blooming maiden of 23; the bridegroom appeared full of glee and full of spirits on the occasion, though he is father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to 101 children.

Yesterday week, in this city, aged 39, Mrs. Mary HODGSON, wife of Mr. Richard HODGSON, innkeeper, after a long and afflicting illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and resignation.
Yesterday week, in this city, Jane, daughter of Mr. John WRIGHT; aged 11 years.
On Monday last, Elizabeth, wife of Mr. James BELL, weaver, Brampton; aged 34.
Last week, at Croft-Head, near Longtown, aged 74, Mr. Jos. FLETCHER.
Tuesday last, at Wigton, Mr. Geo. CHARLES, grocer, of a rheumatic gout, of which he has been confined for seven years, which he bore with Christian fortitude; aged 53.
On Saturday the 14th ult. at Bolton-gate, Mr. John IRVINE, many years parish clerk of Bolton, aged 64.
Suddenly, at Maryport, on Friday last, Mr. John COULTHARD, tide surveyor, aged 48; formerly of Gilsland, in this county.
On Monday last, at Maryport, Mrs. Elizabeth ISMAY, widow, aged 60, mother of Capt. Henry ISMAY, of the Vine, of Maryport.
Thursday, at Workington, Mrs. JACKSON, wife of Mr. Peter JACKSON, ship-carpenter.
At Workington, on Tuesday last, after a short illness, in the prime of life, Mr. Robert LYNN, auctioneer, much respected by all who knew him.

Killed, some time ago, in Cumana, South America, by the Royalist party there, against whom he had taken no part, Mr. Samuel MALCOMSON, third son of Mr. Samuel MALCOMSON, innkeeper, Kirkcudbright.
Lately, at Cleator, aged 28, Mary, wife of Mr. Samuel LINDOW.
The 20th ult. at Kirkland, parish of Lamplugh, Ann, wife of Mr. Jacob DIXON.
At Smallthwaite, parish of Lamplugh, the 23d ult. Mr. John FEARON, aged 87.
Very suddenly, on Saturday last, Mr. John MATTHEWS, of Kirkland, aged 63.
The 33d [sic] ult. on the passage from New York, Mr. Thos. TYSON, chief mate of the brig Thomas, of Liverpool, and son of Mr. Edward TYSON, plumber and glazier, Maryport. He was washed overboard in a hurricane, in his 21st year, on his twentieth passage across the Atlantic.

George Wooler of Deckham’s Hall’s daughter, Elizabeth, married John CURRY, my 1c6r. Frances is a recurring name in that family, and continues down to my 8 year old granddaughter known as Fran.
Will have to go back and check a file I haven’t looked at for ?? years!
