*Historia Genealogica de las Familias mas Antiguas de Mexico*, by Don Ricardo Ortega y Perez Gallardo, appeared in several editions. In all editions, the volumes were not paginated continuously, but the articles on each family are paginated separately. In the Tercera Edicion, Segunda Parte, Tomo III [Mexico: Carranza, 1910], you can find a 23-page article on the Mier family. On p. 21 of that article, at the top of the page, is the following:
1. Doña Susana de la Torre y Mier, casada con el Conde Magencio de Polignac (radicada en Francia); con sucesión.
The following is her ancestry, taken entirely from Ortega's book:
1. Susana de la Torre y Mier
2. Don Isidoro de la Torre 3. Doña Luisa de
Mier y Celis
6. Don Gregorio de Mier de Terán y Alonso, * España 27 IV 1796 7. Doña Mariana de Celis y Docal
12. Don Antonio de Mier de Terán y Mier de Terán 13. Doña Antonia Alonso de Terán
14. Don Mateo de Celis y Mier 15. Doña Evarista Docal
24. Don Felipe de Mier de Terán y López 25. Doña Manuela de Mier de Terán y Duque
28. Don Jose de Celis 29. Doña Teresa de Mier de Terán y Duque
48. Don Felipe de Mier de Terán y Duque 49. Doña Joseía López de Lamadrid
50. Don Antonio de Mier de Terán y Colmenares 51. Doña Francisca Duque
58. = 50. 59. = 51.
96. Don Felipe de Mier de Terán y Bustamante 97. Doña Ana Duque
100. Don Antonio de Mier de Terán y Bustamante 101. Doña Ana de Colmenares
192. Don Antonio de Mier de Terán 193. Doña Gerónima de Bustamante
200. = 192. 201. = 193.
The
line continues back another five generations, but I'll stop here.
There's some biographical stuff there which may yield more genealogical information, but my Spanish is very rusty. If I figure out more I'll post it here.
