Thanks for unselfishly sharing your excellent genealogical data and work. I am new to this group/web site and still don't know how or what is permissible to share through this site or to thank specific individuals. Jose Humbeto's Pedigree Chart not only help add new Tello de Orozco and other Primos to our Family Tree, but also determined his relationship to our Family.

For your information, attached is a Relationship Chart that I periodically update, which shows some of the our Primos who helped improve our Family Tree.

I have also prepared, based on my records, a Sixteen Generation Genealogical Ancestral Report of Jose Humberto Suarez. I plan to share this report either directly with Jose Humbeto or with the group in this web site, if considered acceptable.

Hello, thanks for sharing your relationship chart, it´s admirable that
you take your time to update it. I guess there are many more out there
who in time will be able to contribute somewhat to this big family.

I´m eager to see The Sixteen Generation Genealogical Ancestral Report
about myself. I have been able to find more info about my ancestors in
the last week because I had some time due to the Christmas period. The
lines that are really hard to find are the Polish and Spanish lines of
the 19th century, the ones that established in Mexico between the 17th
or 18th century are the more promising ones.

Well in time I hope to share more info and my advances.

By the way, happy new year and my best wishes for this year to come.

The attached report is based on our Family Tree records, and if you notice, I generally don't edit my shorthand notes and references. Also, please excuse all my typos and any inadvertent errors included. To limit the number of pages and size of the report, I limited it to only sixteen generations. In addition, I did not extract all your ancestors from your report.

Yo llego a los Sanchez de la Barrera con Josefa Sanchez de la Barrera casada con Jose Maria de Chapa, en Monterrey, 12 Sep 1697, Hija de Tomas Sanchez Duran y de Mariana de la Barrera Navarro, Tomas hijo de Francisco Sanchez de la Barreda y Maria Duran Treviño. Mariana hija de Melchor de la Barrera y de Mariana Tremiño o Navarro.

No se si esten emparentados Josefa y Juan Bautista ya que el Padre Josefa era Tomas Sanchez Duran y el hermano de Juan Bautista era Sanchez de la Barrera de la Garza fue Tomas Sanchez de la Garza, porque los Tremiños o Treviños se cambiaban los apellidos unos se ponian de la Garza y otros Treviño.

No se si en tu informacion te sale esta Josefa que yo la traigo dentro de uno de mis ancestros, casada con Jose Maria Chapa 12 Sep. 1697. a mi hasta el momento no me sale nada de Tamaulipas ni de EUA. solo tengo familiares que se fueron en tiempo de la Revolucion Mexicana y que alla se quedaron en San Antonio Tex.

ANACAHUITAS RANCH CEMETERY - HIDALGO COUNTY, TEXAS

Anacahuitas (wild olive tree) Ranch was established on the Llano Grande Land Grant given to Captain Juan Jose Hinojosa of Reynosa (1790). It is located in share 6 allocated to Cipriano Hinojosa and inherited in 1848 by his daughter-in-law, Gregoria Longoria, widow of Jose Antonio Hinojosa. Eventually it passed to Jose Domiciano Cavazos, her son by Lino Cavazos, son of Matias Cavazos and Manuela Hinojosa. The ranch had 885 varas river front (2471.74 feet) and extended north to Mile 18. Domiciano Cavazos and his wife Dorotea Zapata built a two-story, seven room ranchhouse on the north part of the ranch near Anacuitas Lake (which was just south of where Expressway 83 crosses FM 491 at Mile 7 North and Baseline Road; it has long since been drained). The ranch headquarters included land now on Rio Grande Valley Stockshow Grounds, with the family home where Expressway 83 runs several blocks north of the cemetery.

Domiciano Cavazos farmed and raised cattle and horses which he sold in New Orleans. Eventually the ranchhouse was sold to an official of the American Rio Grande Land & Irrigation Company of Mercedes. It was moved north of the freeway, and later torn down. The farm behind the cemetery was sold for construction of Baseline Road.

Domiciano Cavazos set aside land for the cemetery in 1906; he died in 1907. After his death, his widow Dorotea sold the river-front part of the ranch to Jose Martinez, who worked at the Mercedes Pumping Plant on the river. She had a surveyor divide the rest of the ranch among her sons Dionisio, Bernado, Ramon, Manuel and Alfredo. Much of the land was sold and all that remains now of Anacahuitas Ranch is a small house occupied by Refugia Cavazos daugher of Jose Dionisio and Teodora Trevino Cavazos, on two acres of land beside the cemetery, and the cemetery plot where many of the family are

buried.

Descendent of Don Juan de Oñate, colonizer of New Mexico. She descends from his mother, Dona Catalina de Salazar de Cadena and her first marriage to Don Ruy Diaz de Mendoza. A daughter from this first marriage, Dona Magdalena de Mendoza Salazar and her husband, Don Vicente de Saldivar y Onate are ancestors of Dona Josefa de la Garza.

Another participant in the colonization of New Mexico (USA), and an ancestor of this group is Bernabé de las Casas, who married Dona Beatriz Navarro, the daughter of Don Juan Navarro, a founder of Saltillo. Beatriz was the first wife of Captain Alonso de Sosa Albornoz, killed in New Mexico by orders of Oñate. Alonso’s grandfather was the Conquistador Don Andrés de Tapia, perhaps the most trustworthy and reliable of the captains of the Marquis del Valle de Oaxaca, Hernán Cortés.
