Amigas Latinas Scholarship Opportunities
1. Illinois residency, including Illinois resident living out of state for college [Undocumented students are welcomed to apply.]
2. Entering or enrolled in college
3. Demonstrated advocacy work for the LGBTQQ community
Amigas Latinas is willing to consider providing funds to support a Gay/Straight Alliance at a highly Latino populated high school in Illinois. A sponsor may apply on behalf of the group. To apply, send:
Essay addressing the reasons why Amigas Latinas should select you for the Amigas Latinas’ scholarship. The essay should be 500 words or less. Proof of college acceptance or enrollment.
