this might be a good strategy to write a letter of intent. So we could
come into play easier later on.
But I cannot attend the conference ATGender.

Thank you for your activities in building a network within atgender, Dagmar.
I was not so convinced from this network when it was presented in Utrecht at the gender conference - so I do not plan to become an active member in the near futur.
Nevertheless it is a pleasuer to see that you have a different oppinion and because of that I support Dagmars activities. I will stay open minded to be convinced from your experiences. ;-)
Warm greetings to all of you,
Helene

Regarding the membership: I am pretty sure that the centre in Uppsala
is a member of ATGENDER. Staffan, could you check this? In addition, I
will find out, if the Free University is a member or if they are
willing to join the network. Yet I am not an individual member, but
would do so if necessary.
Regarding the working group: I support this idea very much and if you
can pursue this further, Dagmar, that would be great. There has been
an initiative for a working group on gender and physics for the
athena4 program in 2008/2009. Maria Rentetzi then sent in a proposal
and my name and Staffan's were mentioned as collaborators. But then
the athena4 program never was established and ATgender was created.
From what I know Maria is not following up on this plan.
Very best from Berlin, Elvira
