in Europe. ATGENDER Spring
Conference
& General Assembly 2011.
Utrecht University, the Netherlands - April 8-9-10, 2011
Dear members,
ATGENDER is delighted to invite researchers, activists, students, teachers and gender equality agents to its Spring Conference, “Feminist Legacies, Feminist Futures” (Utrecht, 8-9-10, 2011).
ATGENDER is a new (2009) professional membership-based organization that continues the activities of three former gender studies networks: AOIFE (European Association for Feminist Research), WISE (Women’s Studies in Europe) an ATHENA (Erasmus network for advanced women’s studies). Researchers, activists, students, teachers and gender equality agents who have been active in these organizations are especially invited to join the meeting and explore what role the professional association ATGENDER can play to support and strengthen the European networks in gender. The conference welcomes new members at its second Spring Conference.
ATGENDER is glad to announce the presence of Donna Haraway (sponsored by the Center for the Humanities of Utrecht University) in the Spring Conference as a key note speaker.
Attached to this message you can find the call for proposals and the registration form.
We hope you can join us and participate in the conference.
Looking forward to the Spring Conference,
ATGENDER’s board
