Even if you have an older garage door system, you may still be able to use HomeLink. HomeLink works with most garage doors and gates, and the list of other devices that can been connected to HomeLink is growing.
If the HomeLink indicator light continues to flash rapidly during setup for your garage door, it might require some additional programming on the overhead controls of your garage door, however, many of these older systems can still be programmed.
Even if your vehicle is an older model, it may still have HomeLink capabilities. HomeLink has been a part of many Mitsubishi models since 2007. Check your vehicle manual to see if HomeLink is included and how it should be set up in an older car.
