Shipyards and operators are navigating the same pressures. Put your organisation's thinking in front of them.‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌   ‌

Smarter Shipbuilding and Vessel Performance

Shipyards and developers are under pressure to deliver vessels faster, at lower cost, and with greater flexibility to meet evolving fuel, regulatory, and operational requirements. Operators, meanwhile, are shifting toward proactive strategies, embracing advances in propulsion, intelligent systems, and autonomous technologies to reduce downtime, optimise fuel consumption, and meet tightening decarbonisation targets.

Across both, a shared challenge persists: connecting design intent with real-world performance, so that vessels not only meet specification on delivery but continue performing measurably throughout their operational lives.

Shipbuilding & Ship Management (SBSM) 2027 addresses these themes directly. Returning for its sixth annual online edition in collaboration with BMT, the event brings together over 900 attendees from the maritime value chain, hosted online over two dedicated stages. Building on 2026's programme of 64 speakers and 55 event partners, SBSM 2027 has become the annual point of reference for the people and organisations working on these problems.

Speaking opportunities are now available for organisations looking to present to an international audience of shipyards, shipping and maritime operators, technology providers, and innovators.

Share insights, case studies, and proven approaches, build new connections with peers and potential partners, and join the discussions alongside the leading voices shaping the future of shipbuilding and vessel performance.
