1. Collecting a list of FG9-related talks/posters
at Fall AGU
At the upcoming Fall AGU Meeting 10-14
there will likely be many
talks and posters relevant to FG9. Please
add your talk
to the list at http://virbo.org/wiki/index.php/GEM2007mini
or
send email to paul.obrien-at-aero.org.
We will distribute this
list in hardcopy form at the GEM Mini-Workshop
(see below).

2. FG9 Session at the 2007 GEM Mini-Workshop
at Fall AGU
Prior to the 2007 Fall AGU Meeting (10-14
December) we have the
opportunity to gather and discuss the scope
of our focus group and our
strategy for the next few years. The 2007
GEM Mini-Workshop is taking
shape, and we will likely be given a 2-hour
time slot on the afternoon
or evening of Sunday 9 Dec. At the GEM
workshop the scope of our
working group was left somewhat hanging,
and the steering committee
has not chosen to impose a scope on us.
Therefore, we still need to
resolve which phenomena our focus group
shall include (radiation belt,
ring current, and plasmasphere), and in
what proportion.
