Amou Haji, an elderly man from Dejgah, Iran, proudly claims the title of the "dirtiest man in the world." Haji says he hasn't bathed since the mid-1950s — and has no plans to do so any time soon. But it's not only Haji's hygiene habits that raise the eyebrows of his fellow villagers. He smokes animal dung out of a pipe and his favorite food is rotten meat, particularly porcupine.

He regularly feasts on roadkill and drinks water from a rusty old oil can, and he even gets angry if a friendly passerby offers him clean water or a home-cooked meal.
