At any time, the player can slide/drift the car that is controlled, which allows taking corners as quickly as possible. The game will reward risks while driving by filling up the boost meter, which can be used for super speed.[8] Combos are performed when players drive dangerously, such as doing so while in a traffic, opposite lane, or drifting.[9]
An announcement is made that the OECD countries will build a massive development on the southern part of the island and then mine Mitron, declaring the entire island a Special Administrative Region under the jurisdiction of the OMD government. The OMD government then builds an international city called Moon Palace on the uninhabited island. Moon Palace was the only place in the world where Mitron energy could be used legally, making it far more abundant than any other part of the world, and many people in the world wanted to live there.
But as technology advances, so does crime. For some reason, Moon Palace has been plagued with crimes. The majority of crimes in Moon Palace are committed by vehicles, which appear out of nowhere and speed through the city, terrorizing people on the street and paralyzing traffic. The OMD officers called these criminal vehicles HUVs (High-tech Unmanned Vehicles) because when they were apprehended, they were equipped with unmanned systems that were not driven by humans, and the level of technology was high. HUVs are faster than regular cars and have better driving skills, so regular cars can't even approach them.

This project was not about making the best looking city, it was all about making the best race route paths possible to my ability, with drifting areas also incorporated within the city setting. Bigger, faster and wider streets was the goal.
If you are having trouble finding Mita in your current city even if you should have some left, it may be because your level is too high. Check to see if the Mita moved to the next city. Mita spawns in Koinonia at level 21, Cras at level 28, and Oros at level 46.
The game has a coupon system that allows you to own specialty cars simply by playing through the game. There are also incentives after completing certain tasks, such as driving on the wrong side of the road and executing perfect drifts. However, requirements are unreasonable sometimes, like 55 real hours of driving on the wrong side of the road.
You can make a bong out of anything, man.Drift City is almost devoid of any anime outside of quest givers and your driver's license. I was able to pick one of four exciting anime faces that all managed to look equally stupid (as anime does), so I went with the one that had a gnarly scar. Before I could actually play, a warning appeared on my screen to inform me that driving a cell shaded car through a poorly rendered city is not actually like driving on Earth. However, my middle name is "Better safe than sorry" so I decided to take some extra precautions.
The storyline for Drift City takes place in the near future,where the world's infrastructure has been hampered due toglobal shortages of oil. The focus of the world has turned tothe remote archipelago in the Pacific at Mittron Island wherean amazing natural resource, aptly named Mittron has beendiscovered. Due to an influx of vehicles called HUVs thathave invaded the island to terrorize and disrupt thecity and economy, the governing body of the island, the OMD,has called in elite drivers from around the world to restoreorder. Players can play in Mission Mode and completeobjectives assigned by the OMD. Missions vary in theirobjectives and stipulations with some requiring speedwhile other missions emphasizing safety. Delivery ServiceMissions are ongoing and a battle against the clock. In theBattle Zone players can take on other drivers in individual orteam races and players can join up with friends or createtheir own Crew and race against other crews.

If you don't like racing, you can roleplay, it's more of a single-player but still works well. You will be wandering around the vast city area without stopping. Create your own path and earn points by making surprising moves.
I remember playing Drift City back when it was in open beta, which was before the third city was even placed into the game. At that point I found it a lot of fun if a bit janky at times and especially the PvP races were great.
When you are not racing you can roleplay, which is more singleplayer but still well worked out. There's a huge world to discover, with traffic, street lights and even some special places to access. There are four stations with missions around the city, both easy and hard.
The residents of raft-cities, Nomads also known as Rafters, were mostly poverty-stricken, homeless, racially challenged, undocumented and/or running from the law. These cities were made up of large and small ships and yachts, old barges, barrels with makeshift rafts, old oil rigs, and others - basically any kind of watercraft or floating structures. These cities also had linking waterways that flowed from one side of the raft-city to the other.[2]
