View Dolly: CtrlShift + middle-mouse or Shift++/-
works similar to zoom but translates the view center (like panning forward).
I think this is the most direct answer to your question, but listing other methods too.

not able to download zoom

In Blender, when you zoom in or out or rotate the viewport, it always does so around a center point. You can find this point by rotating your display using the third mouse button and finding the spot that always remains in the center. Your problem arises, because Blender essentially reaches the minimum focal distance to that center point, and does not allow you to zoom any further.

One major fix for this problem is modeling on a larger scale. Modeling small objects will require more zooming. Keeping objects to scale(proportional to the real world) will generally make modeling easier.

Typically when you can't zoom in as far as you'd like, it's because you're in perspective view instead of orthographic view. You can toggle between the two by hitting the "5" key on the numeric keypad. You can tell what view you're in by looking in the upper left corner of the viewport. It'll tell you the view you're in (such as "front ortho" or "front perspective").

Go into the 3D View (of course perspective, as we all like it the most), zoom in until it slows down - position mouse cursor into the direction you want to zoom in (which is normally already the case), press the assigned key.

Other answers claim that it's just because at some point you reach the maximum focal distance and you can't zoom anymore. But this doesn't happen normally, it just seems that some setting has been messed up. My workaround is to just create a new project and import the objects that I have so far created, and everything start working normally again.

A solution to this problem. Ctrl+Middle Mouse drag. This allows zooming without the limits. Up and Down drag. I looked in the manual but the commons ctrl+mouse & alt+mouse & shift+mouse controls where not documented. At least I was unable to find it. These are really good for stylus.

I have these lessons on zoom where the teacher just gives us tasks and we are to complete them while on the call so that if we have any doubts he can solve them. The problem is that if I am on a zoom meeting no other sound is played on my computer, and thus I cant listen to music while working.

While using 10.04 and the previous versions I used to put Ctrl+F6 to zoom in and subsequently Ctrl+F7 to zoom out. Now (using 11.10, Unity) I can't even find the options to zoom in and zoom out in the "keyboard shortcuts". I tried "the Magnifier" in the Compiz but really can't understand what is going on right there. There is simple question I would like to ask:

The fun never ends with the Zoom Foosball table. This sturdy table is the perfect solution for families who are looking for a fun way to unwind. This is no ordinary foosball table, and comes in a beautiful black design with metallic trims. The legs are also adjustable; making it perfect for the whole family!

I needed to upgrade my old laptop since it was having problems. My employer sent me an identical system. They both run Windows (same version and OS patch levels). They both have Office 365 with identical patch levels. I use Excel all day for my job. Once my new system was ready and my files copied over, I noticed in Excel that my views were small and it appeared that the Zoom slider bar in the bottom right was greyed out and at 10%. Also, when I highlighted two numbers, the sum/average in the Customized Status Bar was missing. Nothing I did would bring it back. I opened a new spreadsheet and the same thing was happening. After an Office reinstall, same results. I contacted our support team and they were not able help solve the issue either. But, they did determine that the Zoom and Status bar comes back when I change my Excel to Automatic Calculations. I keep all my files set to Manual calculations since I have very large files with hundreds of thousands formulas. I am not able to keep it on Automatic. Both machines are the same and I am testing with many of my files with the same results. I'm not sure how to correct the problem. I did some testing today to flip to Automatic and save the file but that didn't work when I opened it up and flipped it back to Manual. The Zoom bar greyed out again. I really don't understand the differences in these machines and versions of Excel.

It would be nice to have a built in function to zoom in by say 1.25x, 1.5x and 2x - on the canvas while still maintaining actual sizes for the building tools in the editor. It would help with many things such as mobile widths, overlaping elements/close elements and working on a pixel perfect grid e.g. setting grid step small to 5px

Not sure if this is the correct way to request features, please let me know if there is an alternate process. Would really like to be able to zoom in on the editor without losing the sidebar. Similar set up to something like AutoCAD.

The Zoom Air Hockey Table is part of the Billiard Factory's Active Collection as a 7 ft. air hockey table that is kid friendly. In contrast Prezi allows you to develop one single picture which illustrates and overall frame of reference - see the example image - and then to add more detailed information by zooming in on different parts of the picture.

Hi, I am unable to zoom in 5x and 10x in live view mode on my 5D mark iv as I could on my previous camera. In fact, there is no focus box on the screen at all in live view. Is it possible I have done something incorrectly in the menu? Any help would be appreciated!

The Snagglepuss response worked for me when I tried it today. Please verify a setting not included by Snagglepuss, ensure Live View is enabled. Steps: Menu, Camera Tab, Menu 5, Live View shoot., Enable. Now Follow the directions posted by Snagglepuss. Touch "Q" Box at upper-right of screen or the physical "Q" button on the right-rear of the camera body. Select a Focus Mode by selecting the "AF" at the left side of the screen. The AF Modes will now display at the bottom of the screen. The Face-Tracking mode is the bottom-left option, "AF Smiley Face." (My 5D Mk IV does allow me to Live View zoom with face-tracking enabled.) On Live View screen, tap the magnifier button. You should be able to cycle between 1x, 5x, and 10x. Please let me know if this helps.

Having the same trouble. Following the instructions and using the Q button discussed I am able to magnify - however, unlike previous versions (mark 3 and 2), I haven't been able to lock focus on the zoom. As soon as I hit "focus" it jumps back from magnification. I have poor eyesight and have long relied on the magnify x 10 to get eyes locked in. Hope this feature hasn't been abandoned.

I have been able to zoom in and focus in Live View, but now I can't. I can zoom in, but the moment I depress the shutter button to focus and lock, the zoom disappears. I feel certain I have enabled some feature in this menu that has somehow conflicted with this feature. Makes no other sense. Ideas?

Well, here's the solution to the problem. The problem was that I can in fact zoom in to 1x, 5x, & 10x magnification. You can do this only if the AF mode is in FlexiZone Multi or Single. Tracking mode will not work. OK... No problem so far. The problem occurred once I had zoomed. The moment I depressed the shutter button half-way, the zoom would go away and the screen would go back to normal view.

If you can't add someone with an @stonybrook.edu email address as an alternative host in Zoom (especially around the start of the semester), ask that person to sign out and back into Zoom on stonybrook.zoom.us to reclaim his/her Zoom license and then try adding him/her again (see below).

A summary zoom is like a landing page where you can see the pieces of your presentation all at once. When you're presenting, you can use the zoom to go from one place in your presentation to another in any order you like. You can get creative, skip ahead, or revisit pieces of your slide show without interrupting the flow of your presentation.

Select slides you want to include in your summary zoom. These become the first slides of your summary zoom sections. To learn more about using sections in PowerPoint, see Organize your PowerPoint slides into sections.

Once you've selected all the slides you want to use for your summary zoom, select Insert. Your summary zoom is created, and it appears as a new slide just before the first slide you included in your summary zoom.

A slide zoom can help you make your presentation more dynamic, allowing you to navigate freely between slides in any order you choose without interrupting the flow of your presentation. They're a good option for shorter presentations without lots of sections, but you can use slide zooms for lots of different presentation scenarios.

A section zoom is a link to a section already in your presentation. You can use them to go back to sections you want to really emphasize, or to highlight how certain pieces of your presentation connect. To learn more about using sections in PowerPoint, see Organize your PowerPoint slides into sections.
