Flugen German

Whatdoes the german word "Flgeschlagen" (or "Flugenschlagen"?) mean and why does the GPS keep saying it in the movie (they are stuck in traffic)?According to google translator (I know, not a very reliable source) both mean "flight(s) beat".

The GPS doesn't give any further information about this, and "Flugenschlagen" isn't something GPS's say in German.My best guess is that it's supposed to be a ridicules sounding word for the English viewer, while, since they're heading the wrong way, it would be supposed to say "Bitte Wenden" -> "Turn around".

Flgelschlagen (spelled with an extra L, but would sound almost exactly the same) translates to "wing flapping" or "flap your wings". I'm not familiar with the movie, so I don't know if this fits at all. It's not a word a GPS system likely would use.

I knew there were some english words with roots in yiddish and german. For example schlep, reeks and schmutz. But shvitz was new for me.

I though they say "Spritz" more likely than "Shvitz" in movie but i cannot find any proof right know.

I guess i have to wait for something with subtitles.
