Good morning,
In terms of presenting, I am a big fan of using Pear Deck. I can run the presentation for the students remotely without sharing my screen. I can run the Pear Deck on a separate device (iPad or Chromebook) This allows me to have the grid view of all my students visible in Zoom or Google Meet on my school device.
There are a few other options if Pear Deck is not for you.
You can add a second monitor. You can then have the class grid displayed on the second monitor.
If you have a second device you can be logged into that device also. This is what I do. I present with my laptop and use my Chromebook to see my class. I mute both the video and audio on my Chromebook when I do this while I present using my laptop as the main device.
There are quite a few quick YouTube videos that walk through these two options step by step. I also have a few posts connected to Pear Deck on my
blog.
I hope this helps,
Steve
