Hi all!

I am posting this question to all of my Google PLN groups. In my district, we use Google Workspace for Education and starting on 10/13/23, when users tried to print Google Docs in landscape format, the file would print in portrait layout from Google Chrome.

I checked page set up, and it was listed as landscape. I even tried using the advance printing options to select landscape.

Has anyone else experienced this situation?

I fielded a similar call last week. The "solution" at that time was to print using the System dialogue, this was on a Mac I think.

Might be a new Chrome bug?

Thank you!

Here is what I gathered from my PLN. I hope it helps someone else!

Likely Cause: It seems it's a bug with the latest version of Chrome (117).

Option 1: One work around I've found that works is to change the Margins on the print menu.  I changed it from Default to None and back to Default again and I was able to print in Landscape

Option 2: Download the file as a PDF and then print in Landscape mode.

Option 3: Log out of Google Account and log back in, then try to print again.
