Alternative to Oregon Trail

Hello all!

Does anyone know of a SOPPA compliant alternative to the Oregon Trail game online? Our web filter blocks out the original. Thanks! Sharing this question with all of my PLN in case anyone knows about it.

Hi! Just curious...why would this be blocked under SOPPA? From my understanding, the original OT game doesn't collect student data, so there shouldn't be a reason it's blocked for that.

It is not blocked from a student privacy perspective.  

Districts have had to block Oregon Trail because it is hosted on https://archive.org/ which also hosts a lot of inappropriate content.  

We are running into the same thing in 204.
