Request to Update Group Posting Settings

Hello Admins,  

I have been a member of GEG Pennsylvania for a long time, but I noticed that even my posts are going into pending status. Could you please check why this is happening?  

Also, I kindly request that the setting requiring admin approval for new member posts be removed, so that all members (including old ones) can share directly without delay. This will help us collaborate more smoothly and keep the discussions active.

We have moderated posting turned on for all users to filter out spam messages. We are notified when a new message needs to be reviewed and typically approve or reject them withing 24 hours.

Hello Arlin,  

Thank you for clarifying the reason behind moderated posting. I completely understand the need to prevent spam and keep the group safe.  

At the same time, since I am an old member, I was hoping my posts could go live without delay. Is it possible to adjust the settings so that trusted or long-time members can post directly, while new members remain moderated?  

I truly appreciate the effort you and the team put into maintaining this community.

I see that we do have the option to change the setting for individuals. I just changed your account to allow posting without moderation. There were two spam messages from another account offering Seahawks tickets and an iPhone. Thank you for using this group for share ideas and resources.
