Transfer Google Classroom assignments to another domain

Hello!

Does anyone have any tips to make the transition from one domain to another for Google Classroom users? Teachers will be getting a new account and don't want to miss out on old assignments. 

• The IT will not whitelist the 2nd domain so we can't transfer the courses. 
• Google Export does not have a way to seamlessly IMPORT the data.
