Liz Voci is an innovative educational leader serving as Instructional Technology Specialist for Dartmouth Public Schools as well as the Director of Curriculum Development for ED Technology Specialists. Liz's human-focused approach to teaching and learning drives her to develop targeted, engaging, and accessible experiences for both student and educator audiences. Participation in the Google for Education Certified Innovator program, and Generation AI Community of Practice have provided Liz with even more opportunities and resources that she is excited to share with other educators.
Explore "Perfect Book Project" Discover an innovative project where students in grades 1-5 integrate literacy skills (ELA focus) with foundational AI understanding to develop personalized "Perfect Books." Participants will learn the step-by-step implementation process, including literacy lessons, AI literacy instruction, and teacher-guided Gemini prompt engineering (no PII used). See student-created book examples and a visual walkthrough of a 4th-grade project. Objectives: Participants will understand the project's design, learn how AI can support literacy engagement, and gain insights into fostering AI literacy.
