Hello,

I'm looking for some help with YouTube.  What's the best way of saving and organizing videos that cannot be saved because the content is for children so it's turned off?

I'm trying to  gather resources on videos for National Robotics Week.  Where's the best place to store all these links if I can't save them directly to a playlist?

Thanks for the recommendations!

Jennifer

So...a workaround is this:
  1. Do a YouTube search for the video you want to add.
  2. On that screen click the 3 dots to the right of the video description (do not view the video).
  3. You will have the option to add it to a playlist. Add it to a playlist or create a new one.
  4. Do this with all the videos you want to be added (never view the video, just the search screen).
  5. When you are done, head back into your YouTube channel and get the link to the playlist you just created/added to and share.
There you go!

I saw someone (can't remember to whom should get proper credit!) who made a hyperdoc for playlists for kids.  I've also seen mention of making a Wakelet to share with kids.  I know they're both more work than just a YouTube playlist, but they both make for good work-arounds!
