Build process and repository location for Geexbox

I am new to GeexBox and I am looking for instructions on how to build the the system.  I did some googling around and did not find much (I suspect I did not google the right keywords, etc).

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am looking to create a GeexBox capable or AirPlay using the CubieBoard (1 or 2).  Any comments on those plans?
