cubox unable to boot

On cubox-i2ex I installed latest version, geexbox-devel-20140511-r90510a1.cuboxi.img.xz and it does not boot anymore. This happened with the previous versions as well, the last version that I tried and worked is geexbox-devel-20140226-r16917.cuboxi.img (with uImage). The red power light is on but there is no info on hdmi output.

It stops in "Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk0p2..."
