Hello,

I've several problems with geexbox. It wasn't possible for me to sign
in the official geexbox forum because I get no email authentication
email back. So I'll try it on this way.

I use the actual devel-20120215 Version with an old IBM Thinkpad T4.
First I try the i386 PC Version from the geexbox website but it runs
really slow. The devel-version run much more quicker.

At the moment my biggest problem is that the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG
card dosen't work.I use WPA-PSK / TKIP with a simplified passphrase
because i can't switch to a german keyboard layout when I try to edit
the /etc/network on the shell. That means it is to difficult to insert
a long passphrase with many ascii characters.
I try to editing the vconsole.conf but that only changed the X11
keymap. How can that be done for the shell?

..back to the main: I'm sure, that the config of the \etc\network is
configured correctly. Rather I guess that the wlan adapter isn't
activatet because there is no driver on the system. But, I've no idea
how to analyse and contain the problem. Especially not with an us-
keyboard layout at the shell:-))

I hope anyone feel welcome to help me with my problem:-=))

Regards Michael

If you use an usb stick, copy
/etc/network.cont to /.root
reboot in your os, edit the file network.conf
(in windows, use notepad++) at the root of your usb stick
reboot and do cp /.root/network.conf /etc/
Else you can try the addon to change your settings

do :
systemd-journalctl -a > /.root/result.txt
and post the result of result.txt (root of your stick)
