Hey, it looks to me that with the last few pushes, the ducati firmware
being grabbed is now out of date for the plugin/kernel.

This is as of yesterday around noon, when i last kicked off the build.

I did verify the kernel is reporting the firmware was loaded, iva was
started and respoinding to rpc/dce pings.
However, trying to use the gst-ducati decoder gives a dce error of
"could not get plugin base: -22".

I then grabbed the latest firmware from the ti-omap ppa package
(ti-firmware-ipu-dce), overwote the ducati firmware in /lib/firmware,
rebooted, and that made things happy again.

FWIW: They are different sizes. The one i saw in the build output was:
3122302 ducati-dce-sysm3.xem3

The one from the ti-firmware-ipu-dce PPA is:

3618829 ti-firmware-ipu-dce.xem3

This was from a clean build yesterday.

I decoded an xbmctest.mkv that was h264 + DTS 50 times in a loop
(mainly to check for leaks/etc), with no issues, even if i ctrl-c'd it
in the middle/etc.

that's the one from firmware-arm-syslink-mm-2.x.8~2+dce1+1.1

both packages firmware-arm-syslink-mm & firmware-arm-ipu-dce
have the same files with different size

remove firmware-arm-syslink-mm & re-install firmware-arm-ipu-dce should work

Good catch, thanks! Our defconfig was still including the old syslink
firmware packages, which aren't needed anymore and were hijacking the
ducati-m3-core0.xem3 symlink. Should be fixed now.
