Hey there,

I just pushed a changeset[1] with 6 new translations to trunk:
* Danish
* Italian
* Korean
* Norwegian
* Spanish
* Swedish

and one updated:
* German

I found all these laying around the downloads section of geeklog.net, so
some are pretty outdated. It took quite a while to synch them to the
current version, too...

Attached you will find a chart showing us the percentage of completeness
of each language. It's not very accurate, but it should give you an
overall idea.

Thought you might want to know :)

Thanks for taking the time. We should put a call out on Geeklog.net
for translators. What would the best way be to accomplish this? Should
we use your test language translation system you developed?

No, that prototype was never meant to be properly functional. I'm
working on the plugin version of it. Since there were some problems in
the underlying database structure and critical security problems, I went
for a ground-up redesign. It's not far from being functional, maybe a
few more days for an alpha. If it'll be ready in time then, yeah, we
could advertise that as an option to translators.

I'm thinking that we might want to wait until we release the beta1, and
then make an announcement on the geeklog-translations and geeklog-devel
mailing lists.

As a side note: I also pushed Hebrew (by LWC) into trunk, but we don't
have RTL support in the forum. So, unless we can get rid of the
hardcoded "text-align"s, it should not be part of the final release.
It's ok for the beta, though as it may give someone an incentive to
submit patches.

We should mention to LWC that he could code a patch to support RTL
which we would include in the next build after 2.8.0. I believe he did
one before but it was never incorporated.
