Forum 2.8.0 released + QA branch started

Finally I found some time to release the forum 2.8.0 [0]. I've also
written an article about it on geeklog.net (just waiting approval now).

Please note that I have set up a Quality Assurance branch for the 2.8.x
series. So if you want to commit new features or non-urgent bugfixes,
please commit to the "default" branch (your fix/feature will end up in
2.9.0), but if you need to apply a security fix or a super-urgent bugfix
please commit to the QA_2_8 branch and merge with default (the fix will
end up in both 2.8.1 and 2.9.0).

I've written a (small) wiki page that explains the procedure of
committing to multiple branches [1].

If, for whatever reason, you are not happy with the way I setup the
branches in the repository, now is a good time to speak up.
