We're one week into the Machine Learning class. So far, the lectures, quizzes and programming have been fairly gentle. The discussion lead to some projects using temporal pattern recognition and medical diagnosis expert systems. Some of the frameworks mentioned were GSL Shell and the R Project for Statistical Computing.
