A simile is a comparison of two unlike things using "like", "as", or
even "than". Let's be as creative as Hemingway and churn out the
absolute WORST similes you can muster. I enjoy writing exercises like
this and hope you do as well!

Here's my first shot:

Her will folded like a seven-two off-suit hand before the flop.
When I mentioned my idea to Stephen, his eyes lit up as bright as the
night is dark.
Her smile was as wide as the eye of a needle and sincere as a jester.
The pizza smelled like the union of two hot pigs after a strenuous
workout on a swine treadmill, covered in garlic and tomatoes.

His code ran like a Lexus with a banana in its tail pipe doing 80 through a hairpin turn.

She was as pregnant as an overfull helium balloon covered in shaving cream.

Ok, here's my contributions!

As she summoned the courage to open the door, her hands shook like a
bowl of almost-set orange Jello fruit salad.

Dust flew across the yard, like debris caught in a tornado. Which was
convenient, since there was a tornado.

The water drained from the sink, as quick as emptying a bottle of
molasses.

Hope to see/hear from everyone at the meeting tomorrow!

Okay. here's my shot:

She stuck by his side, like day-old peanut butter to the roof of your mouth.

He fell from the skyscraper, hitting the street like a Hefty bag full of chili. (I saw one similar to this somewhere and I couldn't get it out of my head)

The rabbit seemed as impatient as an impetuous kindergärtner on his way to McDonald's.

See you tonight!
