“The annual event is a way to provide effective collaboration among
all the different groups and market sectors involved in
entrepreneurial endeavors in the Arizona business community,” says
Francine Hardaway, conference founder and an entrepreneurial catalyst
in the Arizona community. “Our goal is to create a ”sense of place” to

    grow their own ventures here.”
This year’s event format is designed to encourage networking among
attendees and speakers. It features everything from local
entrepreneurial success stories to expert resources on how to launch a
new company, how to create successful small business marketing
programs and how to navigate successful exit strategies.
Keynote speakers include Mark Suster, GRP Partners, venture capitalist
and blogger at “Both Sides of the Table,” Marianne Hudson, Executive
Director of the Angel Capital Assocation,” Robert Michael Murray,
director of Social Media for National Geographic, and Ethan Bloch, co-
founder of Flowtown talking about his success with a small business
marketing application. Todd Belfer, COO of Fox Restaurant Concepts
will speak on how the premier restaurant company in town keeps its
    edge.
There will also be a showcase exhibit section of Arizona companies and
organizations providing services to support the entrepreneurship
    community.
The AZEC11 planning team will be leveraging a host of local experts to
make this year’s event the most successful yet including our event/
launch company, Event Day, a full-service event management solution
founded by Scott Cate and located at Gangplank. In addition, Derek
