We have already met once last month to do that, and came away with all
the same issues. We've slowly been moving our events to the same month
when they are annual, and moving our monthly events to the same part
of the month. The goal is to encourage people from out of town to come
visit Phoenix, like SxSW makes them anxious to come to Austin.
However, Austin started with a great music scene, which drew all the
rest. So we have to figure out what we have to offer. It's not only
the conferences that should draw people. And we have to be careful not
to cannibalize each other. My conference probably won't do that as
much as Podcamp-DesertCodeCamp-Refresh might. #4AEC and Ignite perhaps
draw more eclectic audiences? Am I correct here?
