So I know this is a minor detail compared to everything else that needs to get done, but...
Recently, I proposed (and created) Facebook flair for a client as just one of the ways they promote themselves and their programs on social media platforms. Then I got a little crazy with the idea and thought it would be a great way to promote other local #phx events and meetups. I also thought that if some of the groups participating in Geek Week liked the flair idea, then it could be a fun way for some people to show which events they were attending or fans of. I created a few mockups, and if you like the idea of creating actual FB flair, I'd be happy to recreate them (or better yet, work with whichever designers necessary to create them).
I've tossed the idea by the PodCamp AZ and Ignite Phoenix groups for starters, and am waiting for rants about my foolish ideas and other constructive feedback. I invite the same here.

Link the facebook flair group would be my suggestion. I don't believe
you could just add the buttons to the site...also, hi, I saw this
group via the TedxPhoenix, and I figure I 'll get involved. I work
with Dudlik for PHXDW, and I've got nothing else going on, so woohoo!
